Recount with a Twist
On Monday 23rd July we had an immersion assembly where we found out our new topic which is called
Move ya’ body. My recount is going to be two truths and a lie you have to guess which one of my
paragraphs is not true.
Move ya’ body. My recount is going to be two truths and a lie you have to guess which one of my
paragraphs is not true.
Mr Burt came out and danced on the stage. He was dressed like a girl with a wig on. Mr J and Mr Somerville were also dancing with him.
Mr Burt then danced on the stage as a girl. But he was all by himself Mr J and Mr Somerville just watched him and laughed. Nobody wanted to join in with him.
Mr Burt got all of us to stand up where we were sitting. Then we all had to dance. We followed what Mr Burt was doing. It was lots of fun.
The immersion assembly was fun and I really liked dancing. Can you guess which one of my paragraphs is not true?

You will need to create 6 questions to ask your partner about how they enjoyed school camp or what they did instead. Once you have created your questions you will need to show your teacher and then interview your partner. You can share your doc with them so that they can read the questions but YOU will need to write down their answers. Once you have both been interviewed and written down the answers you will need to show your teacher and then use an ipad to record the interview.
